A lot of times, I think artist and creatives can become stagnant within their work when there’s too much repetition and not enough freedom to just make whatever they want. At least that’s how it’s been for me lol. I love my business. I love what I’ve created, but sometimes I miss just playing around in the studio or wood shop and just making whatever I want without thinking of selling it afterwards. So I’ve decided to revisit one of my skills…. Designing floral arrangements. I have several that I will be revisiting like woodworking, sculpture, welding, illustration, screen printing. I had the pleasure of working with Green Brier Distillery creating some whiskey flights out of old whiskey barrels. It's an on going job. So every 4- 6 weeks I'll make about 100 of these. Its a bit tedious, but the pleasant whiskey aroma and final product make it worth while. (drilled and sanded) (close up) (Finished product)
